Three construction-related charities are offering help to those affected by last week’s earthquake

UK construction firms have a long history of helping people in the aftermath of natural disasters. Consultants are involved in everything from recovery work to providing temporary accommodation and clean water.

The UK-based reconstruction charity is examining the best way to coordinate with key agencies and channel built environment skills into the reconstruction phase to come.

RICS related charity which seeks volunteers from all surveying backgrounds. Money can be also be donated at BuildAction

RedR
RedR is an international charity that provides training and recruitment services for the humanitarian sector, improving emergency response worldwide.

It has launched appeal to raise £200,000 to send out a team to assess the damage/devastation in Haiti.
