Aukett Europe has designed this £20m shopping precinct in the centre of Coventry.
The 3000 m2 glass canopy, made of two sheets of toughened glass laminated together, will cover the whole precinct and the 23 500 m2 shopping area is to be refurbished. Contractor is a Costain/ Skanska joint venture for Arrowcroft Group and Coventry City Council. qs is Murdoch Green, structural engineer is Alan Baxter and Associates with Aukett Europe as building services engineer. Work is set for completion next October.
