Plans for a £1bn redevelopment scheme in Watford have been revealed this week.

The 26.5ha site will have a £320m, 510-bed hospital, a stadium for Watford FC and 300 homes. Sustainability features will include a CHP plant, rain water harvesting and a lake. The designs is by Benson Forsyth, and the scheme is being project managed by Boxall Sayer. An outline planning application will be submitted in July.
