These are the first images of the 1,359-pupil Archbishop Sentamu Academy, which is one of the first two schemes on the £400m Hull Building Schools for the Future programme

The scheme was designed by HKS Architects, part of the Esteem consortium, which was awarded preferred bidder status in November. The consortium includes contractor Morgan Ashurst, Robertson Capital Projects and the Sewell Group, and financial close was expected as Building went to press. The building has received planning permission and is set to start on site and complete in September 2011.
