McDonald Engineers says it has become the first UK manufacturer to launch an off-the-shelf hot water cylinder specifically designed to work with heat pump technology.
The ECOflow unvented cylinder for heat pumps is a response to the growing demand the firm is receiving from heat pump installers for an off-the-shelf product that comes with all the connections required for heat pump installations as standard.
Based on its Powerflow 2000 unvented copper cylinder, the ECOflow unit also comes pre-fitted with the firm’s high-performance heat pump copper coil and is insulated with a white cased finish. An optional integrated buffer vessel, which sits below the cylinder, offers the advantage of a small footprint that suits many architects and specifiers who have limited space for the installation.
