Work on east London centre for elderly patients due for completion in July 2006.
Hunter & Partners haswon a £14m contract for an Older People’s Re-provision Project at East Ham Memorial Hospital in London. Balfour Beatty is the main contractor on the project.
The scheme is a Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) project, and will provide modern health facilities for elderly, frail and wheelchair-bound patients. Work on the 78-bed facility is due to start in the next few months, with completion scheduled for July 2006.
