Group moves across capital to Canning Town

London mayor Sadiq Khan officially opened the English National Ballet’s new home in Canning Town, east London, last week.

Designed by Glenn Howell Architects, it contains seven full-size studios alongside other learning facilities. The 93,000ft² facility is four times the size of the company’s former headquarters, which was in South Kensington.

Main contractor was Ballymore while fit-out contractor was BW. Others to work on the scheme included QS Pulse Consult, who worked alongside M&E and structural engineer Hydrock and acoustic consultant Aecom.
