Architect Broadway Malyan has unveiled this design for the site of Will Alsop's failed Fourth Grace proposal, which was ditched by Liverpool council in 2004.

One building of the £112m mixed-use scheme will contain 10,000 m2 of commercial space while the two triangular buildings will contain 373 apartments. There will also be public spaces that will link the waterfront to the city centre.

The plans are intended to bring activity to the waterfront to support the Museum of Liverpool, also due to be built on the Mann Island site. The proposals, for Neptune Developments and Countryside Properties, will be submitted for planning in April.
