Architect Cartwright Pickard, in partnership with structural engineer Dewhurst Macfarlane, has won a design competition to work up designs for a School of Engineering and Design at Brunel University.
Isambard’s Kingdom
The competition is also a catalyst for events celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Cartwright Pickard beat leading design teams to the role, including Future Systems, Faber Maunsell with Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, and Hamilton Associates with Buro Happold.
