Two developments for Brickland will be built in Manchester and Liverpool

ISG is to build two major city centre residential schemes in the North West with an overall construction value in excess of £70m.

The larger of the two projects, both for build-to-rent developer Brickland, is a 363-apartment scheme set over two towers of 16 and 19 storeys in the Cornbrook area of Manchester (pictured). The job is worth around £48m.

Main work is due to start next month, with completion expected in summer 2020.

ISG will also build a nine-storey, 200-unit development in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool, worth an estimated £24m. Work on the scheme is set to begin in October with completion scheduled for the summer of 2020.

The firm is also working on another build-to-rent scheme acrorss the Pennines in Leeds. The work to build nearly 250 apartments at the former Yorkshire Post building on the city’s Wellington Street is due to start later this month.
