London specialist says margins protected by ‘robust governance’
London concrete and groundworks specialist J Coffey saw turnover and profit both rise last year, the firm has said in its latest accounts filed at Companies House.
The firm, which also works in demolition and fire protection, said income in the year to September 2025 was up 12% to £183m with pre-tax profit climbing 23% to £6.8m.

In a note accompanying the accounts, the contractor said: “The group’s focus on disciplined tendering, standardised processes and robust governance has helped protect margins despite competitive pricing pressures across the industry.”
It said year-end cash edged up 2% to £12.2m.
