Architect will design the new Australian Institute of Nanoscience

Architecture practice Jestico + Whiles has bagged a prestigious job to design the new Australian Institute of Nanoscience at the University of Sydney.

The building is intended to be a world-leading research and teaching facility providing the most advanced equipment and research environment for nanoscience.

Tony Ling, Director at Jestico + Whiles, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed for this very interesting and challenging project.  It reaffirms our commitment to designing for research and education facilities.

The practice will be working with Australian practice Architectus and US firm CH2M Hill.
