Homes England has appointed Kier’s housing arm to carry out a £200m housing job in Northamptonshire.

Kier Living will build 750 new homes on the 48ha site in Hardingstone, with work set to start this month.

The site will also include community facilities such as a primary school, medical centre and pharmacy, leisure facilities, as well as office and retail space.

John Anderson, executive director of Kier Living, said: “Sites like this underpin our strategic goals to build 4,000 new homes per annum by 2021.”

The housing will be delivered in three phases, with 250 residential units set to be built in each stage.
