Kier has said its full-year results for the year to 30 June 2009 will meet market expectations, thanks to contract wins in education and health

One consensus forecast for the company is for a £50.6m pre-tax profit on turnover of £2.2bn. Kier also said it was restarting construction on a number of housing sites, as its Partnership Homes division had found that prices were beginning to stabilise in certain parts of the country. It sold 1,140 units over the year, a 45% drop on 2008.
