Laing O'Rourke is to meet national union leaders next week to discuss industrial unrest on the Heathrow Terminal 5 project.
Building revealed last week that 1000 workers had attended a meeting over a shortfall in bonuses.

Laing O'Rourke officials will meet the GMB, UCATT and the T&G to discuss the situation.

Workers who live a long way from Heathrow and are housed on site from Mondays to Thursdays are unhappy that Laing O'Rourke has refused to give them time off in lieu when they go home on Fridays.

UCATT general secretary George Brumwell confirmed that a meeting is to be held. He said: "There are grievances on site, but I am confident these can be resolved."
