Laing O’Rourke has poached a senior project manager from Bovis Lend Lease’s £4bn Stratford City development.

John Hilton has been appointed a project director for Laing O’Rourke’s Integrated Solutions division, overseeing regeneration in east London and the Thames Gateway.

He was formerly leader of the Bovis project management team working for shopping centre developer Westfield and London Continental & Railways on the Stratford City development in east London.

Hilton said: “I’m very proud to be joining a company with its roots in the [Thames Gateway] region, which has such an important role to play in making the future happen.”
