Leeds builder lands Sheffield stadium work

Work on £6m deal set to start later this year

Leeds firm GMI Construction has been appointed to build a new £6m community stadium for the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park.

The 4,000-seat stadium, which is designed by Whittam Cox Architects, will contain an artificial pitch and will also incorporate 4,141m² of mixed-use commercial space.
