Third London scheme by Mitsubishi Estate London and Legal & General partnership

Lendlease has confirmed it is to build a £275m office block at 245 Hammersmith Road for LGIM Real Assets and Mitsubishi Estate London.

The £103m contract will see Lendlease deliver the 250,000 sq ft 12-storey Sheppard Robson designed scheme.

The building will also house roof terraces, four retail and leisure units and a café and create a new plaza and urban park.

Demolition of the existing building Bechtel House is already underway and construction is due to complete in the first quarter of 2019.

Mitsubishi Estate London bought into the Legal & General scheme earlier this year making it the third time the subsidiary of Japan’s Mitsubishi Estate has teamed up with Legal & General to develop property in London. Previously the two with Lendlease the Central Saint Giles development.
