New building provides space for more than 1,000 staff for the tech giant

LinkedIn’s new Europe, Middle East & Africa base in Dublin has completed.

Designed by Dublin firm RKD Architects, the professional social networking giant’s new HQ is located on the site of the former Office of Public Works at the corner of Lad Lane and Pembroke Mews in the Irish capital.

It features a commercial kitchen and restaurant, gym, wellness centre and outdoor terraces on every level from between the second and fifth floors and provides capacity for over 1,000 staff.

The 17,600 sq m building is designed to a LEED Gold standard and has integrated and sustainable drainage system, which reduces discharge rates to the Irish Water grid whilst incorporating rainwater harvesting.

The wider project team included Aecom, which provided structural engineering and project management services on the project. Dublin firm Walls Construction was main contractor.
