Developer Grosvenor and Henderson has this week submitted a planning application to regenerate Liverpool city centre's Chavasse Park.
The mixed-use 16.8 ha scheme by architect Building Design Partnership includes the park, which is subject to another planning bid by local developer Walton Group.
Walton claims it has a contract with Liverpool City Council to develop the site and is awaiting a High Court review.
