Firms have until the end of the month to apply for four-year deal

The London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham has put an £18m consultancy framework up for grabs.

Firms have until the end of the month to send in expressions of interest for the four-year deal which will be used for remedial works for the council’s 17,000-strong housing stock.

Services which will be procured through the framework will include fire consultancy, clerk of works services, quantity surveying, project management and employer’s agent services.

It will also be used for civil and structural engineering, M&E engineering and fire and architectural services.

Cladding

Jobs on the framework will include cladding remediation and fire detection systems

Typical jobs are set to include cladding remediation, installation of fire detection systems and sprinklers, scaffolding, complex structural works and extensions.

The framework’s eight lots will include a £3m lot for civil and structural engineering and M&E engineering, a £2m lot for fire consultancy and a £3m lot for multi-disciplinary jobs valued above £6.5m.

A contract notice is due to be published on 20 September.
