London council unveils £300m modular homes deal

Scheme to last an initial five years

Greenwich council in south-east London has unveiled details of a £300m new build housing contract using Modern Methods of Construction.

The first of 750 homes are being supplied by Liverpool firm Ideal Modular Homes having being drawn up by architect Shed KM. Southwark firm A&E Elkins will begin assembling the homes this autumn.
