Will Alsop has unveiled this slightly leftfield masterplan for Croydon’s regeneration.

The scheme, entitled Third City, includes a “vertical Eden Project”, a series of waterways and lagoons and tree-lined walkways linking glass apartment blocks. The proposals are part of a £4bn regeneration scheme aimed at winning city status for the south London suburb.
