Morgan Sindall subsidiary Lovell is to build 353 new homes in Birmingham after been selected by Bromford Housing Group for a major regeneration scheme.

The £34 million Rea Valley, Northfield scheme will see the demolition of existing pre-cast reinforced concrete and the construction of a mix of two-bed apartments, two-bed bungalows and two to five-bed houses.

Paul Smith, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall, commented: "Morgan Sindall is pleased to be involved with this major scheme which will deliver high quality, energy efficient new homes and play an important part in the regeneration of Rea Valley."

The developmet is set to be completed by 2012.
