Scheme in Nottingham to open in 2021

Mace has been appointed to fit out a 10-storey office block for the taxman in Nottingham.

Unity Square will be one of 13 regional centres used by HMRC once it opens in summer 2021.

Main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland began on the site, opoosite the city’s train station, in spring.

Mace will carry out work on the 275,000ft² building ahead of the first of 4,000 staff moving in in summer 2021.

The appointment is the third handed to Mace Interiors by HMRC, with the firm having already won jobs at Croydon, south London, and in Bristol.

The Nottingham scheme has been designed 5plus Architects.
