The £20m Shudehill interchange for the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive will comprise a bus concourse catering for 150 bus departures an hour, a Metrotram stop and an 803-space multistorey car park. The project team is in the process of selecting a main contractor. Project manager is GVA Grimley, associate architect is Jefferson Sheard Associates, structural engineer is FaberMaunsell, services engineer is Hoare Lea & Partners, planning supervisor is Babtie Group and QS is Gleeds.
