Concrete pouring began this week on Buro Happold and Snøhetta’s King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

The 60,000m2 centre consists of five connected reinforced concrete buildings designed to resemble a rock mass. It will include conference facilities, exhibition space, an auditorium, a library and a museum. The main contractor is Saudi Oger.
