Derek Field will takeover from Howard Phillips who becomes chief executive on September 1.

McCarthy & Stone has appointed Derek Field as operations director. On September 1 he will take over from Howard Phillips who becomes chief executive on the same date.

Field has been regional managing director of the south west regional operation since he joined the group in 1996.
