Consultant Atkins has unveiled this design for a casino in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

The £100m scheme, called Marine Plaza, has just been given the go-ahead. It will also include a conference centre, a 100-room hotel, apartments, bars and restaurants. The development, located at the eastern end of Southend’s golden mile on the seafront, will fit into an EDAW masterplan.
