The Places for People housing association has been selected by English Partnerships to regenerate the west end of the Lancashire seaside town of Morecambe.

An area of rundown former Victorian guest houses, which have been converted into flats and bedsits, will be cleared to make way for more than 100 homes. The £15m development, to be known as Chatsworth Gardens, has been designed by Peter Barber Architects.
