Installation of 55m pipe bridge at Yorkshire Water treatment works will help clean up the River Calder

This is the view inside the 55m pipe bridge which has just been lifted into place as part of the upgrade of Yorkshire Water’s treatment works in Huddersfield.

Infrastructure specialist Morgan Est carried out the lift of the 80 tonne bridge.

The pipe will transfer partially treated sewage and is part of a £20million plan to improve the water quality in the River Calder.
