The £1m Tatu Restaurant in Belfast, which opened last year, has won the National Association of Shopfitters Design Partnership Award for 2001.
Designed by Belfast practice Box Architects, the restaurant was praised as a triumph of design.
It beat off shops designed by Stanton Williams and Pentagram Design to scoop the award. The construction of the scheme was overseen by Belfast-based shopfitter James F McCue.
