Multiplex may delay giving Arab Investments a price for its work on the Pinnacle tower amid rumours it is struggling to finalise a team to build the City of London scheme.

It is understood that Multiplex, now known as Brookfield Europe, was due to give a fixed price for the project this month. However, senior site sources say the company may not provide a finalised figure until June.

If Multiplex is unable to provide resources for the scheme, the project may be reconfigured as a construction management job.

A Multiplex spokesperson said: “Our work on this project remains on schedule and a project team is in place – indeed, we have just added another two professionals.”
