Laing has started work on the £53m redevelopment of Piccadilly Station for Railtrack.
The station, due to be completed for the 2002 Commonwealth Games in the city, was designed by Building Design Partnership. The project boasts an enlarged concourse, a new entrance facade and a 608-space multistorey car park. Turner & Townsend is QS and Oscar Faber is carrying out traffic management.
