Head of procurement on Olympic scheme suddenly leaves Bovis Lend Lease
The £2bn Olympic Village development is facing disruption after it emerged that the head of procurement on the scheme has suddenly left developer Bovis Lend Lease.
David McKay, who had been leading procurement on the scheme, has left Bovis to join rival Carillion as the regional head of its supply chain for Midlands and the South.
Both McKay and Bovis Lend Lease declined to comment on reasons for McKay’s departure. It is understood he has been replaced by Mick Sherlock, a member of the procurement team on the Olympic Village.
