Modular contractor Spaceover has developed the UK’s first prefabricated two-storey family homes at its £10m Newhall development in Harlow, Essex.
Almost all the components of the 30 low-rise homes were built off-site and then craned into position. The units, which include four-bedroom villas, townhouses and courtyard homes, were designed by Proctor and Matthews for developer South Chase Newhall, a joint venture between the architect and Renascent Development.
