Arup has received planning permission for its proposed redevelopment of the Shell Centre near Waterloo station in south London. The scheme has been the subject of a year-long public inquiry. The client is a joint venture between Shell International and Lend Lease. The project team includes Lend Lease Projects as project and construction manager, Eric Kuhne Associates as retail and civic space designer, Battle McCarthy as landscape architect, Gardiner & Theobald as QS, Mott Green Wall as services QS and Jeremy Gardner as fire engineering consultant.
