Jon Morris had held the role temporarily since May
Skanska UK has appointed Jon Morris as managing director of its piling and foundations business on a permanent basis.
He took on the role temporarily for Cementation Skanska in May and will now also become a permanent member of the firm’s UK senior management team.
Morris started in Cementation Skanska in 1999 and has held a number of different positions across design, business development, R&D and operations, before leaving the firm in 2004 to work in geotechnical consultancy and ground investigation.
He returned five years later to join its civil engineering business improvement team, re-joining Cementation Skanska in March 2015 as technical director.
