New Barnsbury Estate scheme to span 12 buildings up to 21 storeys in height

Islington council has approved plans by Pollard Thomas Edwards for a 1,116-home redevelopment of the New Barnsbury Estate in north London.

The hybrid application for Newlon Housing Trust and Mount Anvil Limited will span 12 buildings between three and 21 storeys in height, with 38.2% of the scheme’s homes to be provided as social rent.
