Reaching out: Ulster University’s community outreach centre recently opened as part of the £70m Springvale Education Village, the university’s fifth campus which is being developed to house 4500 students. The £4m centre in north Belfast includes a library, cafeteria, performance space, seminar rooms and offices, and covers 2200 m2. The main contractor was O’Hare McGovern and the architect Keppie; Gardiner & Theobald was QS, project manager and planning supervisor, and Building Design Partnership was civil, structural and mechanical engineer.
