Architect Halpern has won planning permission from Westminster council for an 18-flat, 2300 m2 block off Vauxhall Bridge Road, central London. The scheme stands next to a grade I-listed church of St James the Less and the 1960s Lillington Gardens housing estate. The project was considered by Westminster planners to be “an appropriate and considered response to a sensitive and difficult context”.
