Specialist contractor and engineer says it will seek more acquisitions in 2008

Specialist engineering and building firm Renew Holdings has announced that trading for the first quarter of the financial year has been satisfactory.

Chairman Roy Harrison said the board remained confident that its final year results would be in line with market expectations.

The order book at 31 December 2007 stood at £261m.

Harrison will tell shareholders at today's AGM that the company is still looking to acquire new businesses.

The group’s interim results will be announced on 20 May 2008.
