Rider Levett Bucknall has snapped up Birmingham consultant Holbrow Brookes for an undisclosed sum.

The 13-strong firm, which specialises in the healthcare sector, has worked on the modernisation of the mental health inpatient facility for South Staffs and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Trust and the delivery of new theatres for the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.

Founded in 1922, Holbrow Brookes has also previously collaborated with RLB on projects for clients including Worcestershire NHS Trust and Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.

Dean Sheehy, director at RLB, said: “We’ve known the leadership team of Holbrow Brookes for many years and have a proven track record of service delivery together.”

Holbrow Brookes will now become part of RLB’s Birmingham office and Paul Kinsella, managing partner at Holbrow Brookes, added: “I’m sure together we will offer a stronger, more comprehensive service.”

Earlier this year, RLB appointed former Arcadis health boss Conor Ellis to its team. He left Arcadis last summer to head up the health arm of real estate firm Citrica.
