Consultant will manage the relocation of the headquarters to land acquired between Kidderminster and Stourport-on-Severn

Consultant Rider Levett Bucknall has won a contract to manage the relocation of Wyre Forest council headquarters.

In a move to save money and improve efficiencies, the council has acquired land between Kidderminster and Stourport-on-Severn to build a single site civic headquarters. The 45,000ft2 site will consolidate council directorates which are presently spread over four sites.

A team at the Birmingham office will work with architect Broadway Malyan and engineering consultant URS and Hulley & Kirkwood on the development. Work on will commence in the spring next year and will complete in the summer of 2012.
