Ralph Dando, partner, Steven Barker, senior partner and Mel Parkes head of project management

Traditionally a QS and commercial management specialist, RLF’s project management capabilities including development management, development appraisal, risk and programme management have grown significantly in recent years.

The team of seven joining RLF includes Ralph Dando, currently managing director at Trett Manly, who will become a partner.

Mel Parkes, RLF’s recently appointed head of project management, will oversee the enlarged team of more than 30 people and will focus on service delivery.

Steven Barker, senior partner at RLF, said: “The acquisition realises an ambition of RLF’s on the international front and we are currently awaiting decisions on pitches for work in Malta, Libya and Portugal with a combined construction value in excess of £1bn across a number of sectors.

“At a time when many businesses are being cautious due to the current economic climate, we are confident that this strengthening of our team will further boost RLF’s successful project management growth here in the UK and very importantly abroad.”
