Practice moves to new home after 30 years in Hammersmith

Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners has released images of the practice’s colourful new home in the Leadenhall Building.

The practice moved to the 14th floor of the Cheesegrater, which it designed, after the lease ended on its long-term Hammersmith home and the site’s owner - former Rogers partner Marco Goldschmied - decided to redevelop it.

RSHP said it wanted an office space that could accommodate all its 200 staff on one floor in order to promote communication and collaborative working.

The studios in the new office are grouped to the south, giving sight lines across the whole studio, and beyond to St Paul’s Cathedral, Canary Wharf and RSHP’s other landmark building, Lloyd’s of London.

The in-house fit-out of the office was led by Richard Rogers, Graham Stirk, Ivan Harbour and Andrew Morris.
