Ron Brooks is stepping down as chief exeuctive and returning to the USA

Ron Brooks, the chief executive of Olympic delivery partner CLM, is set to step down at the end of the month, it has emerged.

It is understood he is returning to the USA for personal family reasons.

Ian Galloway, whose previous roles include programme director at Channel Tunnel Rail Link, will take on the role of programme director of CLM.

Ray O Rourke, chairman of the CLM board, said: “Ian Galloway will now lead the CLM team and utilise his considerable experience of large-scale infrastructure projects as we work with the ODA to focus on delivery and the start of construction on site next year.”

The CLM consortium is made up of engineer CH2M Hill, Laing O Rourke and Mace and is responsible for project managing the delivery of the 2012 games infrastructure and venues.
