1980s office building to be reinvented

30 Brown Street Manchester

Russells Construction has begun work on the £8m refurbishment of 30 Brown Street in Manchester.

Designed by PRP Architects, the scheme will see the 1980s office building turned into 48,000 sq ft of Grade A office space with a 7,500 sq ft roof-top floor and ground level retail.

The scheme is expected to complete next summer.

It is the latest project to get underway for Russells Construction, which is also working on the £35m restoration of grade II listed Hanover House in Manchester’s city centre. The project is part of the Noma regeneration area in the city.
