Division targeting residential and commercial work

Scott Brownrigg - Manhatten

Scott Brownrigg has set up a new US arm in partnership with a local firm.

The practice will operate in the US and South and Central America under the name, SB+C Architecture.

The move formalises an existing partnership between Scott Brownrigg and New York firm Crown Architecture and Consulting.

The pair bid a scheme on the city’s Park Avenue last year and have previously carried out work turning a dilapidated site in Manhattan’s financial district into a hospitality venue known as the Broadstone Bar and Kitchen (pictured).

Darren Comber, chief executive of Scott Brownrigg, said: “The creation of SB+C Architecture, builds upon our positive partnership with Crown Architecture and our long-term strategy for growth in the US market.”

Target sectors for SB+C Architecture include residential and commercial developments.
