Contractor to build 458 new homes in Wembley

Quintain has handed John Sisk the latest slice of work at its huge development around Wembley stadium in north-west London.

The contractor will build 458 new homes across three blocks, ranging from 10 to 21 storeys tall (pictured).

Sisk has been working at Wembley for 14 years, with the latest contract win becoming its tenth from Quintain following a series of jobs which have included refurbishing Wembley Arena and building the London Designer Outlet.

It is one of five contractors on Quintain’s main contractor framework, with the others being McAleer & Rushe, McLaren, Wates and O’Keefe. Bust contractor Carillion was also on it.

The latest batch of homes, known as plot E05, are being built entirely for rent by Quintain’s landlord arm Tipi, with the blocks featuring a higher proportion of family homes than at any other development plot.

In total, Tipi will manage 7,000 homes across 85 acres at Wembley by the time construction is complete in 2026.
